With the cost-of-living crisis continuing to bite, Kiwis are looking for any opportunity to save money – especially when filling up their tanks.
Kora Fuel Cards are helping to ease the pain at the pump, giving customers 10 cents off per litre at any Waitomo or Mobil fuel stations nationwide every time they swipe their card at the pump or counter.
The more you fill up every month, the more you’ll save and if you’re like Auckland mum-of-two Sophie, those savings will quickly add up.
“Since getting our Kora fuel cards we have saved $394.70 on fuel and I don’t know what I love more – the actual money we’ve saved or the fact that we didn’t have to do anything other than just fill up as normal,” she says.
‘A game changer’
Sophie and her husband have two young boys, and they have a two-car household. They do a lot of kilometres each week, says Sophie, and were feeling the pain at the petrol pump.
“Monday to Friday we are doing school drop-offs and pick-ups and driving to and from work, and then Saturdays and Sundays there’s lots of driving the boys to and from sports,” says Sophie. “We also like to go away for weekends every now and then, but even just with the normal driving you need to do for school and sports, we were finding petrol was taking a massive chunk out of our weekly budget.”
Signing up for Kora was an “absolute game-changer”, says Sophie.
